Growing my NGSS Skill Set

This weekend I have been digging into the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and pedagogy at the Mediterranean Association of International Schools (MAIS) conference in Rome. Between dishes of pasta and visiting the sites I have gained some excellent insights into how to align the NGSS with the IB DP sciences, a task we are currently working on at Rabat American School.

There is always so much to learn as an educator and I am fortunate to be able to go to events such as these and grow my knowledge base to better support my students. No two schools, two courses & two students are exactly the same, so there is always room to grow.
